KARUNA SHANTI +2 & +3 RESIDENTIAL SCIENCE

More than 300 students enrol every year to pursue higher education in +2 and +3 Science in a residential surrounding.

The Project Campus has obtained 100% pass out result in both +2 and +3 Science stream.

It has received permanent recognition and affiliation for +2 and +3 science streams

It has its own infrastructure with facilities for students and staff like library, science laboratories, ROR water plant, and vehicles for transportation.

During Covid-19 conditions, teachers were able to complete most of their planned syllabus in time that has helped students to study well while they stay and undertake classes at home and keep in touch with their studies to prepare for their internal and external examinations.

It has conducted various personality development programmes for  students through different activities like meditation, sacred space,  seminar, public speaking training, writing gratitude journal, practicing non-violence communication (NVC), gender aligned mannerisms training, Village Development Initiative (VDI) programme, National Service Scheme (NSS), etc.

ANGANWADIS & PRIMARY SCHOOLS

81 functional AWCs provide joyful learning activities and provide entitlement/provisions (?) to children under the supervision of Statutory Committees like JC and MC. Door to door distribution of dry ration was given to children of AWCs and Schools through AWWs and teachers with the support of JC, MC and SMC members by following Covid19 guidelines. JCs, MCs and SMCs supported the AWWs and teachers during the distribution of dry ration, THR, and textbooks to the children. 80 School Management Committees (SMCs) were empowered on building discrimination free schools.
80 SMC provide services to school children under RTE like textbooks, uniforms, MDM, drinking water and toilets in the schools. The school cabinets have worked for value education in the schools. Mother Tongue aligned textbooks based on Multilingual Education (MTB-MLE) teaching learning materials for language subjects has been developed for class 1 and 2 in both Kui and Soura tribal dialects.
Children have acquired grade appropriate learning level on language and numeracy at school level. Statutory Committees like Janch Committees (JC) and Matru Committees (MC) were strengthened in 61 preschools who in turn have taken steps to resolve issues related to proper functioning of preschools, like (MTB-MLE TLM, uniforms, SNP, freshly cooked food, etc). 50 different types of Teaching and Learning Materials were classroom tested and a manual has been compiled to be used by Anganwadi Teachers. Peace and nonviolence days were celebrated in village preschools and school centres.
