CASE STUDY 2

Runi Singh is a former student of our KarunaShanti Residential Science College (KASH). She belonged to Sikarma village of Kandhamal District of Odisha. She studied from 1st to 7th class at Haridamada Ashram Bidyalaya of District Khurda, Odisha and also completed her 10th board from Pravatitara Girls high school, Bamunigam of Kandhamal district of Odisha by securing first class (71%) in the annual 10th board exam. Runi belongs to a poor family. She has three siblings. From her childhood she had an aspiration to become doctor for that she underwent professional coaching at KSCC but unfortunately she was unable to qualify in the entrance examination but she was not disheartened.

Then she tried for nursing and got a seat for GNM Nursing professional course at Christian Hospital, Berhampur. Her widow mother works as a daily labourer and takes care of her family.

Due to her financial problem she had requested our organization to support her daughter towards her professional studies.

 Presently Runi Singh is continuing her professional studies in GNM Nursing course at Christian Hospital, Berhampur. She has expressed her gratefulness towards the donor as well as the management of SOLID for extending all their kind support to her to complete her nursing courses.
